Being situated on the highlands, the Hveravellir nature reserve is surrounded by the gigantic Langjokull and Hofsjökull glaciers. It is a real heaven of peace which is home to a geothermal area, rich in hot springs and fumaroles. The clear and unblemished panorama is splendide and represents a source of inspiration for that person who wants to discover the lava fields or to traverse the surrounding mountains.

Depending on the weather conditions, this circuit takes sometimes the form of polar expeditions to the world’s end with the wind, the snow and the desert highlands ... You will not be disappointed by this escape from the noise of the crowds. The comfortable shelter where we sleep has recently been renovated and benefits from a heating system all the year round due to the abundance of the natural hot springs.

We use custom super jeeps, which allow us to cross-flooded rivers, to reach snow-covered areas or to safely ascend on the glaciers in an extremely comfortable manner. For your safety, we reserve the right to change the tours on account of the weather conditions, the route or the snow.
